@1: It's a good idea to limit period end times to the day before the start of the next period. On changin the next periods start date, the previous period's end date should be changed too

@2: Won't change this, since it will likely introduce a lot of interdependencies that will do more harm than good. Since timing is indicative only, it probably just an annoyance.

Period timespan changes now affect following periods so continuity is ensured and overlap prevented
